Ο Κάρολος Παπαλαζάρου είναι από τους λίγους επαγγελματίες που προσεγγίζουν τη διατροφή όχι σαν μια στείρα διαδικασία απαγορεύσεων, αλλά σαν μια συνολική φροντίδα του ανθρώπου. Στη δική μου περίπτωση, όπου η παχυσαρκία συνδέεται και με περιόδους ψυχολογικής πίεσης και καταθλιπτικών επεισοδίων, ασχολήθηκε ουσιαστικά και σε βάθος, με υπομονή και πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον. Οι οδηγίες του είναι σαφείς, χωρίς υπερβολές και χωρίς εύκολες «μαγικές λύσεις». Το πρόγραμμα που δίνει βασίζεται σε φυσικές τροφές, είναι ισορροπημένο, χορταστικό και κυρίως εφαρμόσιμο στην πραγματική καθημερινότητα, χωρίς εξαντλητικές στερήσεις και χωρίς το κόστος πολλών μοδάτων διαιτών. Παράλληλα, ο τρόπος που αντιμετωπίζει τον διαιτώμενο διακρίνεται από επαγγελματισμό και μια διακριτική αστική εκλέπτυνση που σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι άνετα και όχι σαν να πηγαίνεις σε μια δυσάρεστη υποχρέωση.
