Έχει διατελέσει Επιμελητής - Κλινικός Ερευνητής στο Γαστρεντερολογικό Τμήμα του Γενικού Κρατικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών και επί σειρά ετών εργαζόταν στη Γαστρεντερολογική Κλινική και το Ενδοσκοπικό Τμήμα της Κεντρικής Κλινικής Αθηνών. Από 1991 ο γιατρός έχει ενεργό συμμετοχή σε σεμινάρια, συμπόσια, στρογγυλά τραπέζια, ζωντανές ενδοσκοπικές παρουσιάσεις, μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια, ενώ είναι και προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε συνέδρια. Τέλος, έχει συμμετάσχει σε πάμπολλες δημοσιεύσεις και είναι μέλος πολλών ελληνικών και διεθνώς συλλόγων και εταιρειών.
