Georgios Anagnostopoulos is a Gastroenterologist who sees patients in Marousi at the "Mitera" Clinic. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his Gastroenterology specialty at the 251 General Air Force Hospital. In 2002, he received a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology and pursued advanced training as an Advanced Endoscopy Research Fellow at the Wolfson Digestive Diseases Centre, University of Nottingham, UK, and the Endoscopy Department, University of Mainz, Germany. He has more than 100 presentations at Greek and international conferences and continues to frequently publish articles in the Greek press. It is noteworthy that his primary interests include the monitoring of patients with Barrett’s esophagus and ulcerative colitis, as well as the endoscopic evaluation of patients with precancerous lesions in the gastrointestinal tract (dysplasia). Furthermore, he specializes in complex polypectomies of flat polyps (endoscopic mucosal resection), ablation of Barrett’s esophagus epithelium using radiofrequency ablation (HALO), and obesity treatment through the revolutionary endoscopic AspireAssist method.

Zlatinoudis Xaralampos is a Gastroenterologist-Hepatologist who maintains a private practice in Argyroupoli. Simultaneously, he provides his services at Metropolitan General in Cholargos, with his office located at the headquarters of the 3rd Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic. Georgios Mylonas is a Gastroenterologist who has maintained a private practice in Aigaleo since 1989. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Lazaridis Lazaros - Dimitrios is a Gastroenterologist and serves as Consultant in the Gastroenterology – Hepatology Clinic at Metropolitan General in Cholargos. He also maintains a private practice at the Pharos of Neo Psychiko. He studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Gastroenterology - Hepatology at the University General Hospital “Attikon.” Beyond the national exams for obtaining the Gastroenterology specialty title, he participated in the activities of the 14th Hepatology School of the Hellenic Association for the Study of the Liver and was awarded following his participation in the examinations. He was awarded a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2017 with a grade of “Excellent.” He completed his doctoral thesis at the 2nd University Pathology Clinic of the University General Hospital “Attikon” focusing on the role of the inflammasome in idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases. He is the author of more than 15 scientific articles in reputable international scientific journals. He has participated as an invited speaker at Greek conferences and has been part of the authorship team in nearly 50 presentations at international and Greek conferences. He has actively participated in multicenter clinical studies. He has taught students at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens within the framework of undergraduate courses. He fulfilled his mandatory rural service as a physician at the General Hospital of Trikala in the Regional Clinic of “Koniskos” and served as a Pathology specialty trainee at the General Hospital of Athens “Sismanogleio,” as part of his training for the Gastroenterology specialty. Finally, he fulfilled his military obligations as a unit doctor in the Hellenic Army, serving at the 95th National Guard Reconnaissance Squadron (95 EAΝΕΘ) in Gennadi, Rhodes.

Pontas Xristos is a Gastroenterologist and maintains his private practice in Athens. He has served as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Acute General Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital Hampstead NHS Trust and as a Clinical Fellow in the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Department of the same hospital in London. It is noteworthy that he was awarded a UEG (United European Gastroenterology) Scholarship as well as a Scholarship from the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society. Dr Med Katsoulis Stauros Kai Synergates is a Specialist Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist, Specialist Pathologist, and Intensivist, with a practice based in Chania. He is a graduate and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Göttingen Medical School and an Assistant Professor at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. He completed his full specialization in Germany, where he worked for 33 years at the highest level of German medicine. From 2002 to 2019, he served as the Director of Gastroenterology at the KKLE Hospital in Germany, an Academic Teaching Hospital of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. He has published numerous articles in international scientific journals and has presented research findings from his work. The modern gastroenterology clinic is fully equipped with high-resolution endoscopes from Olympus. It also features a new ultrasound device from Canon (Xario 200G) for ultrasounds of the upper and lower abdomen, as well as a device for performing respiratory tests for food intolerances (such as lactose, fructose, etc.). Oikonomaki - Vouroukou Eleni is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist who graduated from the General High School of Neapoli Lasithi and the Medical School of the University of Messina, Italy, with the grade "Excellent with Honors." During her medical studies, she completed an experimental thesis titled "Application of Lasers in the Treatment of Technical Injuries in Experimental Animals." In February 1989, she obtained a Medical Practice License in Italy after passing the required examinations, which was automatically recognized in Greece. She fulfilled her Rural Service at the Malies Ierapestrás rural clinic and the Ierapestrás Health Center. She served as a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion for her basic training in internal medicine and subsequently served as a resident physician in the University Gastroenterology Clinic of the same hospital. In May 1998, she successfully passed the specialty examinations in Gastroenterology – Hepatology. She then worked for two years as an unpaid Scientific Collaborator in the activities of the University Gastroenterology Clinic, specifically in hepatology. She worked as a gastroenterologist for six years at the Medical Center of Crete, Heraklion Diagnostic Center, and as the head of the endoscopy department. Additionally, she was the head of the endoscopy department at the Agios Georgios clinic for several years. Since then, she has been operating her private practice in Heraklion at 8 Arkonisou Street in Nea Alikarnassos, equipped with a fully equipped endoscopy department where endoscopies are performed (Gastroscopy – Colonoscopy – Polyp removal).

Karatzas Pantelis is a Gastroenterologist who maintains a private practice in the Ampelokipoi area. He completed his doctoral dissertation at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Medical degree from the same university. He received advanced training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at the University of Hamburg, Germany, and specialized in Gastroenterology at "Evangelismos" Hospital and in General Pathology at the General Hospital of Chalkida. He is a university fellow at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and has served as a scientific collaborator at the University Hepatogastroenterology-Endoscopy Unit of the University General Hospital “Attikon.” Furthermore, he is a member of numerous scientific societies, has attended numerous Greek and international conferences, participated in many specialized seminars, and has publications and written presentations both in Greece and abroad.
