2. Report illegal content

If you believe content on the platform is illegal (for example a review or information on a profile), fill in our contact form and choose "Report illegal content" as the subject.

Your report should include:

  • Why you believe the content is illegal
  • The exact URL of the content
  • Your full name and email
  • A statement that the information you provide is accurate and complete (good faith statement)

You will receive an automatic confirmation by email. We review every report promptly and objectively, and we let you know our decision and how you can challenge it. Reports from Trusted Flaggers are handled with priority, as set out in Article 22 DSA.

3. Trusted flaggers of illegal content

Doctoranytime recognizes the status of "trusted flagger" for any entity that has been granted such status—in accordance with Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act)—by the Digital Services Coordinator of the European Union Member State in which the entity is established. This recognition applies regardless of the Member State in which the entity is established and is valid within the specific area of expertise for which the status was granted. To this end, doctoranytime consults the public database maintained by the European Commission pursuant to Article 22(5) of the aforementioned Regulation (https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/trusted-flaggers-under-dsa). Doctoranytime reviews this database on a regular basis and, in any event, prior to processing any notification submitted by an entity invoking this status.

Trusted flaggers submit their notifications regarding content they consider illegal via the Website's contact form, available at https://pro.doctoranytime.gr/en/contactus. They must select the reporting category for illegal content and specify their status in the relevant field. This declared status is verified against the aforementioned database. Provided that such notifications fall within the trusted flagger's area of expertise, they are processed on a priority basis, and doctoranytime's decision is reached without undue delay. Doctoranytime informs the trusted flagger of its decision and of the available avenues for appeal.

If doctoranytime determines that a trusted flagger has submitted a significant number of notifications that are insufficiently accurate, inaccurate, or inadequately substantiated, it shall notify the Digital Services Coordinator that granted the status, providing the necessary explanations and supporting documentation, in accordance with Article 22(6) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. The prioritized review of notifications from trusted sources does not affect the processing—conducted in an equally diligent, objective, and non-arbitrary manner—of notifications submitted by any other visitor or user.
