Dr. Maria Vranou is a Pediatrician and holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where she completed her doctoral studies with the highest distinction ("Excellent"). She graduated from the NKUA Medical School in 1997. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital in Athens from 2002 to 2006. She then specialized in Neonatology, training in the Premature Neonatal Unit and the Obstetrics–Neonatology Clinic of "Alexandra" Hospital in Athens from August 2005 to February 2006. Furthering her training, she completed a specialization in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital from December 2010 to July 2013. In addition to her clinical work, she served as a Scientific Associate at the Hemorrhagic Disorders – Hemophilia Unit of the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital from September 2006 to October 2007.
Dr. Vranou currently runs a private pediatric practice in Piraeus, providing high-quality medical care with a focus on neonatology, pediatric intensive care, and the management of children with chronic or complex medical conditions.
