Dr. Maria Vranou is a Pediatrician and holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where she completed her doctoral studies with the highest distinction ("Excellent"). She graduated from the NKUA Medical School in 1997. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital in Athens from 2002 to 2006. She then specialized in Neonatology, training in the Premature Neonatal Unit and the Obstetrics–Neonatology Clinic of "Alexandra" Hospital in Athens from August 2005 to February 2006. Furthering her training, she completed a specialization in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital from December 2010 to July 2013. In addition to her clinical work, she served as a Scientific Associate at the Hemorrhagic Disorders – Hemophilia Unit of the "Agia Sofia" Children’s Hospital from September 2006 to October 2007.


Dr. Vranou currently runs a private pediatric practice in Piraeus, providing high-quality medical care with a focus on neonatology, pediatric intensive care, and the management of children with chronic or complex medical conditions.

Γνωρίσαμε την γιατρό τυχαία κατόπιν επιλογής προσωπικού παιδιάτρου. Δεν έχω λόγια για τον επαγγελματισμο της, την ηρεμία της, την καλοσύνη της και φυσικά είναι πάντα εκεί όταν την χρειαστούμε είτε τηλεφωνικώς είτε δια ζώσης. Είμαστε πολύ τυχεροί που την επιλεξαμε πρώτα για τον άνθρωπο και μετά για τον επιστήμονα.

Εξέτασε ενδελεχώς και τα 3 μας παιδιά, ήντα πολυ ευγενική με όλα τους ! Είχε πολύ υπομονή να ακούσει όλο το ιστορικό σχετικά με ιώσεις, αλλεργικά, δερματικά κλπ και μας κατατόπισε πολύ καλά με λεπτομερέστατες οδηγίες και συμβουλές ! Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ για όλα ! Θα την ξαναεπισκεφτούμε σίγουρα ! Εννοείται πως το ιατρείο της με τις πολύχρωμες ζωγραφιές των παιδιώ σε κάνει να νιώθεις ζεστασία και πως είναι να είσαι παιδί !
