Εν συνεχεία και με υποτροφία της Ελληνικής Καρδιολογικής Εταιρίας, ξεκίνησε την εκπαίδευση του στις Συγγενείς καρδιοπάθειες και στην Πνευμονική Υπέρταση Ενηλίκων και Παίδων αρχικά στο Πανεπιστημιακό νοσοκομείο του MANCHESTER και κατόπιν στο ROYAL BROMPTON HOSPITAL. Αμέσως μετά και επι διετία συνέχισε την εκπαίδευση του στο ROYAL BROMPTON HOSPITAL στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο στις Συγγενείς καρδιόπαθειες και την πνευμονική υπέρταση ενώ εξειδικεύτηκε περαιτέρω και στην Υπερηχογραφία των συγγενών καρδιοπαθειών και στην Δυναμική υπερηχογραφία (Stress echo). Κατά την εκπαίδευση του στις συγγενείς καρδιόπαθειες πραγματοποίησα πάνω από 1500 υπερηχογραφήματα καρδιάς σε ασθενείς με συγγενή καρδιοπάθεια και πνευμονική υπέρταση ενώ έκανε περισσότερους από 200 δεξιούς καθετηριασμούς σε ασθενείς με πνευμονική υπέρταση. Ο ιατρός διετέλεσε Επιμελητής στο τμήμα συγγενών καρδιοπαθειών στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Liverpool ενώ τα τελευταία χρόνια διατελεί Επιμελητής στο Τμήμα Συγγενών Καρδιοπαθειών και Παιδοκαρδιολογίας στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ κι είναι επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης της Καρδιολογικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και του 251 Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αεροπορίας. Τέλος, έχει στο ενεργητικό του πλήθος Δημοσιεύσεων καθώς και Προφορικών ομιλιών και ανακοινώσεων σε διεθνή καρδιολογικά συνέδρια.
