Cardiologists in Athens

Radamanthys Mparounis, MD is a Cardiologist with a private practice in Ano Patisia. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens. After completing his military service, he worked as a resident in France (Paris) at the university hospitals “Broussais” and “Louis Mourier,” in the departments of Cardiology and Pathology, respectively. He subsequently continued his specialty training in Pathology and then Cardiology at the General Hospital of Athens "Konstantopouleio - Patision" and the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." Since 2018, he has been practicing as a private physician, and since 2019, he has been affiliated with «SOS Doctors». He holds the European Cardiology Diploma (ESC–EECC) and is trained in modern ultrasound techniques at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center.

Kouremenou Xrysoula is a Cardiologist and maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. She is a graduate of the Medical School and to this day serves as a Scientific Associate at Metropolitan General, Iaso Marousi, the Medical Center at the Psychiko branch, and as the Scientific Head Cardiologist at the International Diagnostic Centers - Bioiatriki. Stathogiannis Euaggelos is a Cardiologist and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of Athens, with a private practice in Koukaki. He graduated from the Military Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Subsequently, he specialized in Pathology and Cardiology at the Hippocrates General Hospital of Athens and received further training in Cardiology at HARVARD MGH Hospital in Boston, USA. He has many years of experience in Cardiology, having worked at the American Hospital of Mon Belgium as well as serving as Director of the Cardiology Clinic at the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital and later as Hospital Director. Dr. Tsagkou Vasiliki is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Galatsi. She holds a medical degree from the School of Health Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has specialized in cardiology at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." She has extensive professional experience, having worked in major Greek clinics such as Euromedica, Euroclinic Athens, and the Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Prefectural Hospital of Sparta. As part of her continuous education, Dr. Tsagkou attends and participates in a large number of conferences both in Greece and abroad and has contributed to over one hundred papers and publications in Greek and international conferences. Klotsa Dimitra is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Zografou. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received further training in echocardiography at King’s College Hospital in London. There, she specialized in the Heart Failure Clinic (diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients) and in the ultrasound department, performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms on patients with heart failure. Koumelli Areti is a Military Physician and Specialist Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Ambelokipi. She completed her specialization at the First University Cardiology Clinic of the "Hippocrateion" General Hospital of Athens. She holds the position of Consultant Cardiologist at the Cardiology Clinic of the 251st General Air Force Hospital. She is a PhD graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she holds the European Diploma of Cardiology (ESC European Diploma of Cardiology). Το Σύγχρονο ΑγγειοΚαρδιολογικό Κέντρο του ιατρού Παπαμιχαήλ Ανδρέα αποτελεί ένα από τα καλύτερα και αρτιότερα εξοπλισμένα ΑγγειοΚαρδιολογικά κέντρα στην Ελλάδα. Το 1986 ξεκίνησε να λειτουργεί σε ένα μικρό χώρο στο κέντρο της Αθήνας. Maniotis Xristos is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Ilisia. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed postgraduate training in the Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias Department at St Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University in New York. He also holds a Master's degree (MSc) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in Clinical Ergometry, Exercise, Advanced Technology, and Rehabilitation. Additionally, he has attended the Master Class of Courses on Clinical Trials at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS and holds certification for performing Cardiac Ultrasound as well as the ALS (Advanced Life Support) diploma. Throughout his career, he has worked in numerous hospitals in Greece and abroad, gaining valuable experience in the fields of Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Ο Κάββουρας Χαράλαμπος M.D, Msc, PhD, FSCAI είναι Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος- Παιδοκαρδιολόγος εξειδικευθείς στην Παιδοκαρδιολογία και στις Συγγενείς Καρδιοπάθειες Ενηλίκων-Παίδων στο Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου καθώς και στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία στο University Hospital Toronto, Peter Munk Cardiac Center στον Καναδά. Διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο στο Κολωνάκι. Ο ιατρός αποφοίτησε από το πανεπιστήμιο του PECS στην Ουγγαρία, είναι κάτοχος MSc Kαρδιακή Aνεπάρκεια από το Imperial College και Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστήμιου Αθηνών με θέμα σχετικό με την Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία και τις Συγγενείς Καρδιοπάθειες. Kontsas Konstantinos MD, PhD is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Paleo Faliro. He holds a doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a medical degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in Cardiology at the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon." He further specialized, with a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiological Society, in Pulmonary Hypertension and Congenital Heart Diseases at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he subsequently worked as a registrar.
