Διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο στο Κολωνάκι. Ο ιατρός αποφοίτησε από το πανεπιστήμιο του PECS στην Ουγγαρία, είναι κάτοχος MSc Kαρδιακή Aνεπάρκεια από το Imperial College και Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστήμιου Αθηνών με θέμα σχετικό με την Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία και τις Συγγενείς Καρδιοπάθειες. Το Σύγχρονο ΑγγειοΚαρδιολογικό Κέντρο του ιατρού Παπαμιχαήλ Ανδρέα αποτελεί ένα από τα καλύτερα και αρτιότερα εξοπλισμένα ΑγγειοΚαρδιολογικά κέντρα στην Ελλάδα.
