Koliastasis Leonidas MD, MSc, PhD, FESC

Dr. Leonidas Koliastasis is a Cardiologist specialized in Interventional Cardiology, PhD holder from the Medical School of Athens, and maintains private practices in Ilisia and Oropos, Attica. He is Associate Director and performs interventions at the Leukos Stavros Clinic - The Athens Clinic, while also serving as a Scientific Collaborator at the 1st University Clinic of the University of Athens at Hippokration Hospital, providing Interventional Cardiology services and engaging in research and teaching activities. Additionally, he is a Military Physician with 16 years of service in the Armed Forces. He studied at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Military School of Officers, specializing in Cardiology at the Naval Hospital of Athens and the 1st University Clinic of the University of Athens at Hippokration Hospital. He further specialized in the full spectrum of contemporary Interventional Cardiology at the CHU Saint-Pierre University Hospital in Brussels and obtained the European Interventional Cardiology Title from the EAPCI. He holds a Master's Degree in "Interventional Cardiology" from the Medical School of Athens, and his doctoral dissertation focused on the interventional treatment of Structural Heart Diseases. For his research work, he has received scholarships from the Hellenic Cardiological Foundation and the Hellenic Cardiological Society, and participates in the design and conduct of research protocols. He has participated as an invited speaker at numerous international conferences and has published scientific articles in reputable international journals. His objective is to provide comprehensive and personalized services based on the latest and most advanced data and to apply Interventional Cardiology at the highest level.
