Ως αθλητής ο ίδιος (συμμετείχε επί σειρά ετών σε ανταγωνιστική ποδηλασία μεγάλων αποστάσεων -7 σπαρτακειάδες και πολυάριθμους αγώνες) είναι δικτυωμένος και δέχεται στο ιατρείο του αθλητές υψηλών επιδόσεων όλων των ηλικιών. Έτσι μπορεί να δώσει χρήσιμες συμβουλές σε όλο το φάσμα των αθλούμενων, από τους αρχάριους, μέχρι και όσους ασχολούνται με τον πρωταθλητισμό. Η μεγάλη του εμπειρία εξασφαλίζει την ασφάλεια στην άθληση, προστατεύοντας από την μία πλευρά τον αθλούμενο από προβλήματα υγείας, αλλά και αποφεύγοντας την αναίτια διακοπή της άσκησης. Είναι επιστημονικός συνεργάτης του ιατρείου υπέρτασης του νοσοκομείου Αθηνών “Ιπποκράτειο”και συνεργάζεται με μεγάλα ιδιωτικά Νοσηλευτικά ιδρύματα, όπως το ΥΓΕΙΑ και το Ιατρικό Αμαρουσίου. Xristoforidis Triantafyllos is a Pathologist and maintains a private practice in Serres.
