Cardiologists with experience in Stress echo

Andreas Tsoumeleas is an Interventional Cardiologist and the scientific director of the Health Diagnosis multi-specialty clinic. He is also the head of the Cardiology Department at the Athens Therapy Center, an Interventional Cardiologist at the Athens Bioclinic, and an external collaborator with the "HYGEIA" and "IASO GENERAL" Hospitals. He holds a degree in Medicine from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), graduating with honors ("very good"). He completed his specialization in Cardiology, which included two years of Internal Medicine at the 2nd University Internal Medicine Clinic of the G.N.A. "Hippokration" and four years of Cardiology at the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Korgialeneio - Benakeio Hellenic Red Cross." He obtained his Cardiology specialty title in 2019. Subsequently, he specialized and participated for two years in the full scope of Interventional Cardiology (coronary angiographies, angioplasties, bifurcation lesions, heavily calcified lesions, rotational atherectomy, chronic total occlusions) at the Hemodynamics Laboratory of the "Red Cross" Hospital. He is a member of the Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). Finally, he is a member and ALS instructor at the Hellenic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Society (HCRS) and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).

Papadimitriou Prokopis is a Cardiologist and maintains his medical practice in Ampelokipoi. He completed his studies at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he obtained his degree in 2004. Subsequently, he earned a Master's Diploma in "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" from the same university during the period 2010–2012. He also holds certification in Transthoracic Echocardiography from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), obtained in 2019 and renewed in 2025, as well as certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography from the same scientific society in 2020. His professional experience includes completion of his specialty in Cardiology at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" during 2011–2016, followed by specialization in advanced echocardiographic techniques of cardiovascular imaging at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in the United Kingdom from 2018 to 2020. Since 2020, he has been working in the Department of Cardiac Ultrasound – Cardiovascular Imaging at the Athens Medical Center.

Nikopoulos Xristos is a cardiologist who has maintained a private practice in Farsala since 2004, while also serving as a scientific collaborator at the Heart-Thorax cardiothoracic surgery clinic of IASO Thessaly. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens. During his studies, he served for one year as an internal assistant in the Department of Anatomy, where he participated in the education of second-year students in the respective course. He also served as an internal assistant in the Department of Physiology for 3 years under Professor P.K. Bechrakis, with his main focus being research in this area. He specialized in cardiology at the General and University Hospital of Larissa as well as at the AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki. In 2010, he received further training in the latest cardiac ultrasound techniques at the Ioannina Hospital, specifically in stress echocardiography, and obtained certification to perform this examination from KESY following exams. In 2012, he obtained a 5-year certification in transthoracic cardiac ultrasound at a European level from the European Society of Cardiology, after theoretical and practical competency exams. In 2017, he renewed this certification, valid until 2022, following a new evaluation. He trained and earned a master's degree in vascular triplex ultrasound in 2016 as part of an international postgraduate program of the Medical School of Larissa in collaboration with the University of Genoa Medical School. Dr. Nikopoulos has participated in numerous international and Greek conferences and has publications in both foreign and Greek medical journals.

Mparmperis Dimitrios is a Cardiologist and maintains a private practice in Zografou. He holds a postgraduate degree in Cardiorespiratory Resuscitation from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a medical degree from the Victor Babeş University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMFT). In addition to his private practice, he is a Scientific Collaborator at Bioclinic and Euroclinic in Athens as well as the Scientific Director of the Cardiology Department in ALPHABANK's polyclinics. Finally, he is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Cardiological Society.

Σε συνεργασία με το Διαγνωστικό Κέντρο Πυρηνικής Ιατρικής "Υγεία Λαμίας", συμμετέχει καθημερινά στη διενέργεια πολλαπλών σπινθηρογραφημάτων μυοκαρδίου. Επιπλέον, έχει συμμετάσχει σε πληθώρα συνεδρίων και σεμιναρίων στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Στο ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο, αντιμετωπίζει περιστατικά πάνω σε όλο το φάσμα της καρδιολογίας, αντιλαμβανόμενος τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες των ασθενών του.

Tsartsalis Dimitris - Id Polyiatreio Kardiakaiaggeia is a Cardiologist MD, MSc, PhD, specialized in Echocardiography, Stress Echo (Dynamic Echocardiography), and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). He maintains a private practice in Chalandri and holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same university, he earned his medical degree as well as a postgraduate degree in Medical Biology. His specialty in Cardiology was completed at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippokratio," where he gained valuable clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, acute coronary syndromes, echocardiography, as well as care for patients with heart failure and arrhythmias. During his professional career, he served as Deputy Director of the Echocardiography Unit at Linköping University Hospital in Sweden and also worked as Consultant at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippokratio." He is a member of the Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS) and a distinguished Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He is a scientific collaborator of the 1st University Cardiology Clinic and an instructor for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Koumoulidis Anastasios MD, MSc, PhDc is a Cardiologist with private practices in Nikaia and Kallithea. He is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Cardiology from the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." He holds a postgraduate diploma in Interventional Cardiology from the University of Paris and has worked for two years in the same field at the University Hospital "LARIBOISIERE" in Paris. There, he performed a large number of coronary interventions, covering the full spectrum of coronary cases (primary angioplasties, bifurcation and left main lesions, CTOs, ECMO) using all modern techniques and materials (rotablator, OCT, IVUS). Additionally, he is certified for transcatheter implantation of bioprosthetic aortic valves (TAVI). Concurrently, he holds the European diploma in echocardiography. Finally, he consistently participates in major Greek and international cardiology conferences, maintaining excellent expertise in his specialization.

Velissariou Georgios is a Cardiologist and maintains a private practice in Acharnes. He specialized in cardiology at the 1st Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and has attended numerous seminars aimed at continuous professional development in his field. To date, he is a Scientific Collaborator of the HYGEIA group and a member of the Athens Medical Association. In 2024, after six months of training at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, he obtained a license to perform stress echocardiography (stress echo).

Tsoukalas Dionysios is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Pallini. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. He specialized at the General Hospital of Nikaia - Piraeus and obtained the Cardiology specialty title in 2018. Since then, he has worked as a Specialist Cardiologist at the General Hospital of Nikaia Piraeus "Agios Panteleimon," the General Hospital of Trikala, the General Hospital Asklipieio Voula, as well as at the Metropolitan General Hospital, where he currently serves as Consultant of the 2nd Cardiology Clinic. Dr Pisimisis Euaggelos is a distinguished Cardiologist with excellent training and extensive experience, operating a private practice in the center of Piraeus. He is an interventional cardiologist and Coordinating Director of the Cardiology Clinic at Tzaneio Hospital of Piraeus. After graduating from the Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, he studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens. He specialized in Cardiology at the Cardiology Clinic of Tzaneio Hospital and received further training with a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiological Society at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. He holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Athens, is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and serves as President of the Panhellenic Medical Society of Cardiology Directors (P.I.E.D.KAR.). He advanced through all levels of hierarchy in the Cardiology Clinic of Tzaneio Hospital and, in 2009, was appointed Coordinating Director following a Health Ministry Council review. He has been recognized for his clinical, organizational, educational, and social contributions both within the medical field and in the community of Piraeus residents. In 2007, he organized and operated the Hemodynamics Laboratory at the General Hospital of Chios, and in 2014, established a similar laboratory at the Cardiology Clinic of the Asklipieio Voula Hospital. Between 2011 and 2014, he served as Vice President of the Scientific Council, and from 2019 to 2021, as Director of Medical Services at Tzaneio Hospital of Piraeus. He participates in several Scientific Committees of the Ministry of Health. He was an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Medical Association (I.S.P.) (2005-2022) and of the Board of Directors of the Athens-Piraeus Hospital Doctors Association (E.I.N.A.P.) (2019-2022). He remains an elected member of the I.S.P. at the Panhellenic Medical Association. He is a member of the Alumni Association of Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, the Arcadians Association of Piraeus, and the Association of Scientists of Piraeus.
