Additionally, he is certified in the use of modern laser fiber optics, radiofrequency (RF), and ultrasound (HAL) in the surgical management of anorectal diseases (pilonidal cyst, hemorrhoids, perianal fistula-abscess, anal fissure, condylomas). Annually, he lectures and participates with presentations at numerous postgraduate seminars and conferences abroad and in Greece, staying updated primarily on the latest advancements in proctology and minimally invasive surgery. Since 2017, he has served as a reviewer for the American surgical journal Trauma Cases and Reviews and in 2023 published the world’s first report with new data on the contemporary management of pilonidal cysts using laser with the new Infinate Ring fiber.
