Spyropoulos Xaralampos is a General Surgeon, PhD holder from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and maintains a private practice in Chalandri. Additionally, he is the Director of the 3rd Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan General and a National Trauma Trainer in Greece and Cyprus, certified by the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras, specialized in General Surgery at the University Hospital of Patras, and further specialized in minimally invasive management of emergency surgical pathologies at the I.R.C.A.D - E.I.T.S. Laparoscopic Surgery Center in Strasbourg, France. Subsequently, he received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery of the upper gastrointestinal system and laparoscopic bariatric surgery at the DRK - Krankenhaus - Clementinenhaus hospital in Hanover, Germany. Moreover, he completed a postgraduate program in Clinical Laboratory Specialties at the University of Patras. Furthermore, he has worked as a General Surgeon at the "Eugenideio" Therapeutic Center, the "Rea" General Clinic, the University Hospital of Patras, and Stepping Hill Hospital in the United Kingdom. Finally, the physician is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Surgical Society, the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, the Hellenic Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology, the Hellenic Breast Surgery Society, and the Hellenic Society for the Application of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology.
