Έχει πλούσιο ερευνητικό έργο, καθώς έχει συγγράψει περισσότερες από 50 μελέτες και άρθρα σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά, ενώ είναι συχνά ομιλητής σε συνέδρια στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Μέχρι και σήμερα, διατηρεί συνεργασία με την Β΄ Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης "Γ.
