Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Καρόλου της Πράγας και κατέχει Διδακτορικό Δίπλωμα από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, με θέμα τον καρκίνο του Προστάτη.
