Giantsidis N Georgios MD, MSc is a Military Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon and consultant at the 1st Orthopedic Department of the 424 General Military Training Hospital. Επίσης, έχει πραγματοποιήσει μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο πεδίο της Αθλητιατρικής (Sports Medicine) ενώ κατέχει και το Δίπλωμα "Ιατρικής Ποδοσφαίρου" της FIFA (Federation International de Football Association). He has a substantial research portfolio, having authored over 50 studies and articles in Greek and international journals, and is frequently invited as a speaker at conferences both in Greece and abroad. To date, he maintains a collaboration with the 2nd University Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "G. Dr. Totlis Tryfon is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist, PhD holder, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Scholarship of Excellence from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been awarded 7 scholarships/training fellowships in Greece and abroad, including at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, USA, and St. Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany. He was part of the medical team of the football club PAOK FC in the Superleague from 2016 to 2019 and serves as a consulting orthopedic surgeon for numerous teams across various sports and levels. In 2011, he moved to Germany to complete his training in orthopedics. There, having progressed through all stages of training, he advanced to the position of senior physician (Oberarzt). In 2012, he began his specialty training at the 424 General Military Training Hospital, which he completed in 2018 at the Third University Orthopedic Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the General Hospital "Papageorgiou," receiving the title of Orthopedic Surgeon.

He completed the Master's program in "Medical Research Methodology" at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2014 – Grade: Excellent) and obtained his PhD from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2024, presenting his dissertation on the osteoinductive capacity of a novel peptide derived from Bone Morphogenetic Protein-2 combined with a de novo collagen sponge as a bone graft substitute.

During the period 2021-2024, he worked in the United Kingdom, specifically at Frimley Park Hospital, as a Clinical Fellow in the Hip-Knee Surgery Department, gaining significant experience by performing and participating in a substantial number of surgical procedures (hip and knee arthroplasty, revisions, unicompartmental (partial) knee arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgery, osteotomies).
