Kontsas Konstantinos MD, PhD is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Paleo Faliro. He holds a doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a medical degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in Cardiology at the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon." He further specialized, with a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiological Society, in Pulmonary Hypertension and Congenital Heart Diseases at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he subsequently worked as a registrar. Additionally, he specialized in Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing and Cardiac Rehabilitation at the University Hospital of Bern, Switzerland. He is a certified hypertension specialist by the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and has expertise in advanced ultrasound techniques (Stress Echo, 2D strain, 3D Echo). He is a Scientific Collaborator and University Fellow at the 2nd University Cardiology Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon" and collaborates with Hygeia Group Clinics, Athens Medical Center, White Cross Athens, and the Gynecological Obstetric Surgical Center "Leto." Finally, he actively participates in Greek and international conferences through oral and poster presentations and attends seminars as part of his continuous education and professional development.
