The scientific director of the “Thymisis” Center, Kentro Psyxikis Ygeias Kai Noitikis Endynamosis Thymisis - Mpaltouka Konstantina, is a graduate of Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She holds a postgraduate degree in “Neurosciences and Neurodegenerative Diseases” from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She possesses extensive experience in supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders, having worked in care and rehabilitation facilities. Εδώ και καιρό παρατηρούσαμε ότι η μητέρα μου αντιμετώπιζε δυσκολίες με τη μνήμη της (μπέρδευε ονόματα, λέξεις , έχανε αντικείμενα). Μετά από επίσκεψη σε νευρολόγο, διαγνώστηκε με ήπια γνωστική διαταραχή. Για να ενισχύσει τη μνήμη της και να αποφυγουμε την επιδείνωση( οπως μας ανέφερε ο γιατρός) ξεκίνησε συνεδρίες δύο φορές την εβδομάδα στο Κέντρο Θύμησις ( κάνει εξειδικευμένες ασκήσεις και παιχνίδια μνήμης ) Την βλέπουμε χαρούμενη και πάντα με όρεξη να πηγαίνει στις συνεδρίες. Η Κωνσταντίνα, υπεύθυνη του κέντρου, είναι ένας γλυκός άνθρωπος με κατανόηση, υπομονή και γνώση. Την ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!

Στις αρχές του προηγούμενου έτους ο πατερας μας διαγνώστηκε με αρχές ανοιας . Μέσω της πλατφόρμας Doctor Anytime επιλέξαμε το Κέντρο Θύμησις για έναν πλήρη έλεγχο της μνήμης. Η κυρία Μπαλτούκα, ψυχολόγος και ιδιοκτήτρια του κέντρου, ήταν πολύ ευγενική, προσεκτική και λεπτομερής δειχνωντας μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον για την περίπτωση μας . Ο πατέρας μας πλέον κάνει δύο φορές την εβδομάδα συνεδρίες για την ενδυνάμωση της μνήμης του, πράγμα που βλέπουμε ότι τον βοηθάει πραγματικά και μειώνει σημαντικά το άγχος του. Επιπλέον, δύο φορές τον μήνα συμμετέχει σε προγράμματα κεραμικής, τα οποία τον ηρεμούν και του φτιάχνουν τη διάθεση, (μιας και πάντα ήταν άνθρωπος που ασχολούνταν με χειρωνακτικά πράγματα.) Προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα το κέντρο Θύμησις γιατί είναι ένας χώρος που αγαπά πραγματικά τους ανθρώπους αυτούς και τους φέρεται με σεβασμό και αγάπη !

Η Κα Μπαλτούκα, υπεύθυνη του κέντρου είναι επαγγελματίας με γνώση, εμπειρία και πραγματική ενσυναίσθηση. Ιδιαίτερα καταρτισμένη σε θέματα τρίτης ηλικίας και Alzheimer, με προσέγγιση που εμπνέει εμπιστοσύνη και σεβασμό. Μία ψυχολόγος που ξεχωρίζει για το ήθος και τη συνέπειά της.Φαίνεται ξεκάθαρα ότι αγαπά τη δουλειά της και αντιμετωπίζει κάθε περίπτωση ξεχωριστά με υπευθυνότητα. Τη συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Επισκέφθηκα το κέντρο λόγω του παρατήρησα να δυσκολευομαι εδώ και καιρό σε διάφορα πράγματα με την μνήμη μου . Η κυρία Μπαλτούκα μου δημιούργησε αίσθημα εμπιστοσύνης από την πρώτη στιγμή. Με βοήθησε πολύ τόσο στην αξιολόγηση του προβλήματος μου , (παραπέμποντας με και σε έναν εξαιρετικό νευρολόγο )οσο και στη διαχείριση του άγχους μου. Την ευχαριστώ για όλα!
