Dr. Tzerefos Stauros is a Cardiologist and maintains a private practice in Neo Psychiko. He holds a Medical Degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a doctoral candidate at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. He specializes in the management of emergency cases, as well as patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, pregnancy-related cardiopathies, and has extensive experience in echocardiography. His clinic offers 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (Holter), 24-48 hour rhythm Holter monitoring, heart and thoracic aorta triplex ultrasound, and issues health certificates and attestations. He completed his Cardiology specialization at the Cardiology Clinic of the General Regional Hospital of Tripoli and the Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio." Additionally, he specialized in Intensive Care Medicine and holds certification in performing transthoracic echocardiography from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. He has also been trained in the latest techniques in echocardiography. He currently serves as Deputy Director at IASO Hospital and is affiliated with YGEIA and MITERA Hospitals. Until November 2020, he held the position of Scientific Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit at MITERA Hospital. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and, as part of his ongoing education and training, delivers lectures and publishes in Greek and international journals. He is a member of the Hellenic Cardiological Society, the Hellenic Society of Intensive Care Medicine, and the Medical Association of Athens. Finally, the doctor holds contracts with the Armed Forces and the Hellenic Coast Guard.
