Dr. Gkekopoulou Anastasia, MD, MSc, is an Interventional Cardiologist. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and subsequently completed her specialty training in Cardiology at the University Hospital of Cologne, Germany. She specializes in interventional cardiology as well as cardiac ultrasound (triplex, transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo). She served as Attending Physician at Maria Hilf Hospital Bergheim, where she gained extensive experience in the full spectrum of emergency cardiology, ranging from acute myocardial infarction to heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and life-threatening arrhythmias.
