Ασχολείται με όλο το φάσμα της τραυματολογίας με εξειδίκευση στην αντιμετώπιση των σύνθετων καταγμάτων του ώμου - αγκώνα. Επίσης, εξειδικεύεται στην αρθροσκόπηση ώμου - αγκώνα και γόνατος με μεγάλη χειρουργική εμπειρία και όγκο περιστατικών. Εφαρμόζει το ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας σύστημα ανάστροφης αρθροπλαστικής ώμου χωρίς stem. Είναι εταίρος (fellow) του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου των Χειρουργών του Εδιμβούργου, έχοντας ολοκληρώσει με επιτυχία τις σχετικές εξετάσεις. Επιπλέον, είναι εκπαιδευτής στο Advanced Trauma Life Support Course και στο παγκοσμίου φήμης Reading Shoulder and Elbow Course. Ταξιδεύει συχνά στην Ευρώπη όπου διδάσκει την τεχνική της ανάστροφης αρθροπλαστικής ώμου χωρίς stem. Την περίοδο 2017 - 2019 ήταν ο πρώτος Έλληνας που εκλέχτηκε μέλος της Εκπαιδευτικής Επιτροπής της Βρετανικής Εταιρίας Ώμου - Αγκώνα. Tέλος, τo 2020 εκλέχτηκε στην επιτροπή μελών της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Ώμου - Αγκώνα.

Dr Loupas Dimitrios is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Chalandri. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
