Mougiakos THeodoros

Dr. Mougiakos Theodoros is a Military Physician - Psychiatrist and maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specialized in the Psychiatric Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation for postgraduate studies in Psychopharmacology in 2002. His research interests focus on emotional disorders. He trained and is certified as a psychotherapist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Research University Institute (EPIPSY) and in the EMDR method. He offers non-pharmacological treatments for anxiety disorders and trauma. Additionally, he has numerous presentations and publications in Greek and international conferences and journals, and actively participates in the training of Greek Psychiatrists. He is also a member of the editorial team of the Prescription Protocols of the National Organization for Medicines (EOF). He holds the rank of General Chief Physician and is Director of the Psychiatric Clinic of the 414 Military Hospital of Special Diseases. Finally, Dr. Mougiakos is a member of the Hellenic Psychiatric Association, treasurer of the Hellenic Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, the Psychogeriatrics Branch of the Hellenic Psychiatric Association, the Cognitive Psychotherapy Society, and EMDR - Hellas.
