Savvari Paraskeui

Paraskeui Savvari is an Internist and maintains a private practice in Marousi. She holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Sparta/Regional Clinic "Petrinas" and subsequently worked as a scientific collaborator in the Intensive Care Unit of the Therapeutic Clinic at the General Hospital "Alexandra," gaining valuable experience in managing patients with coronary artery disease and heart failure. She holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her specialty in Internal Medicine at the University Therapeutic Clinic of the General Hospital "Alexandra," where she trained for 1.5 years in managing patients with acute cerebrovascular stroke (A.C.E) in the stroke unit. She worked as a Consultant Physician at the HYGEIA Hospital and as a scientific collaborator at the "Laboratory of Hygiene, Epidemiology, and Medical Statistics" of the University of Athens. Concurrently with her private practice, she serves as a collaborator at the 1st Internal Medicine Clinic of the "Errikos Dyunan" Hospital Center, overseeing clinical and educational activities and participating in the clinic's on-call duties. Additionally, she works as a medical advisor at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, primarily engaged in research and the pharmaceutical management of patients with arterial and venous thromboses. She has contributed to the authorship of 21 scientific articles and 4 textbooks and has been a speaker at numerous scientific conferences. Finally, Dr. Savvari is a Fellow of the European Stroke Organization (FESO), a member of the Hellenic Stroke Organization, and Vice President of the Hellenic Society of Frailty and Sarcopenia.
