Xalastras Thomas

Xalastras Thomas is an Otolaryngologist and maintains a private practice in Keratsini. He is a graduate of the Medical School and trained in General Surgery at the General Hospital "Asklipieio" of Voula. He completed his rural service in Ioannina and subsequently served his military duty as a medical private in the infantry. Thereafter, he continued his specialization in Otolaryngology at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and obtained the title of Surgeon Otolaryngologist in 2007. Additionally, he received further training in Neuro-otology at the University College London Hospital, Department of Neuro-Otology in London, as well as in Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Universitätsklinik und Ambulanz für Hals Nasen Ohren Heilkunde in Ulm, Germany. Furthermore, he has collaborated with major private hospitals and since 2010 holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has also attended numerous seminars in Greece and abroad focusing on otolaryngology, particularly in vertigo, rhinoplasty, laser surgery, and functional endoscopic surgery. He has published scientific papers in international and Greek otolaryngology journals and has presented a significant number of scientific papers at conferences both in Greece and internationally. At his practice, he manages cases encompassing the entire spectrum of otolaryngology, with notable specialization in otology/neuro-otology, rhinology and nasal surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He performs the full range of otolaryngological and head and neck surgical procedures.
