Katsorida Katerina BSc, MSc is a Mental Health Counselor - Psychotherapist and maintains the private practice "Psychotherapevein" in Vyronas, which is a space created with great care, serving as a place for self-care through psychotherapy and counseling. The Mental Health Counselor graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology with a specialization in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She continued her studies in England, where she completed a postgraduate program in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. She specializes in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis - Biothymic Psychotherapy from the Center of Applied Psychotherapy and Counseling. She was trained in administering neuropsychological tests for assessing higher cognitive functions (attention - concentration, verbal and visual memory, executive functions, language, visuospatial-constructive abilities), participated in conducting prevention groups for Alzheimer’s disease in healthy elderly individuals and in topical groups, cognitive strengthening, and reminiscence therapy in elderly patients with moderate and advanced dementia. She provided counseling to relatives of dementia patients and individual cognitive strengthening to dementia patients under continuous supervision within the framework of the Memory Clinic and the epidemiological study conducted in collaboration with the University of Athens, the Municipality of Marousi, and the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Society. She continued her practical training at the Hellenic Center for Intercultural Psychiatry and Care "Kostis Ballas," Heliotropio Day Center, observing and participating in groups focused on developing social and cognitive skills in adults with psychiatric disorders. Finally, she regularly attends numerous seminars and conferences as part of continuous education and professional development.
