Απέκτησε το Πτυχίο της (Bachelor of Arts) από το Πανεπιστήμιο Vassar College στις Η.Π.Α. και το Μεταπτυχιακό της τίτλο σπουδών (Master of Science) στην Κοινωνική Ψυχολογία από το Πανεπιστημίου του London School of Economics and Political Science στο Λονδίνο. Η κλινική της πρακτική περιλαμβάνει ένα ευρύ φάσμα ατομικής και ομαδικής ψυχοθεραπείας σε ενήλικες και εφήβους με αγχώδεις και συναισθηματικές διαταραχές, προβλήματα ταυτότητας καθώς και συμβουλευτική στήριξη σε γονείς και οικογένειες. Έχει κάνει πρακτική στην Ψυχολογική εκτίμηση και Μαθησιακή αξιολόγηση παιδιών και εφήβων στο Ιατροπαιδαγωγικό Κέντρο του Νέου Ηρακλείου. Έχει παρακολουθήσει πολυάριθμα σεμινάρια για την υποστήριξη του παιδιού στο διαζύγιο, στην απώλεια και στην αντιμετώπιση της σοβαρής αρρώστιας, σεμινάρια Εμψύχωσης Ομάδων Εφήβων και Νέων και σεμινάρια για την Ψυχοπαθολογία του Παιδιού και του Εφήβου.
