Παράλληλα, συμμετείχε στο ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Υγείας (Π.Ο.Υ.), στο πλαίσιο της πανευρωπαϊκής μελέτης COSI (Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative), η οποία αφορά την παρακολούθηση και καταγραφή του επιπολασμού της παιδικής παχυσαρκίας στις χώρες της Ευρώπης. Η συμμετοχή της σε ερευνητικό επίπεδο ενίσχυσε ακόμη περισσότερο την εξοικείωσή της με τη συλλογή και αξιοποίηση επιστημονικών δεδομένων στον τομέα της διατροφής.

Στην επαγγελματική της δραστηριότητα δίνει έμφαση σε μια εξατομικευμένη και ουσιαστική προσέγγιση της διατροφής, προσαρμοσμένη στις ανάγκες, τις συνήθειες και τον τρόπο ζωής κάθε ανθρώπου.
