Dr. Dagiasis Matthaios MD, FEBOT, is a Military Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon, and Traumatologist, maintaining a private practice in Korydallos. He serves as a Consultant at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Athens (NNA). He graduated from the Medical Department of the Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS) and holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He trained in both surgical and non-surgical management of the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions initially at the Naval Hospital of Athens and subsequently in the United Kingdom, where he completed his specialty training. He completed his specialization in Orthopedic Traumatology, earning the title of Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT) following specialized examinations. He has specialized at recognized centers in the United Kingdom in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgery, management of Young Adult knee disorders, and sports injuries. Hip and knee arthroplasty utilizing the latest minimally invasive, bloodless techniques and fast-track rehabilitation protocols, revision of painful arthroplasties, sports injuries, surgical treatment of fractures, and foot disorders are among the procedures he frequently performs.
