Athanasiou Nikolaos MD, MSc, PhDc

Dr. Athanasiou Nikolaos is a Dermatologist – Venereologist specializing in clinical dermatology, dermatoscopy and skin cancer prevention, dermatologic surgery, and modern aesthetic dermatology.

He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens and completed his Dermatology – Venereology specialty at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." Concurrently, he is completing postgraduate studies (MSc) in Dermato-oncology focusing on the early diagnosis of skin cancer and is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Athens. During his training, he obtained ECFMG certification in the USA and gained experience at high-level academic and clinical centers, such as Johns Hopkins Hospital.

At the clinic, a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions are treated, including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic and seborrheic dermatitis, urticaria, fungal infections, warts, papillomas, and hair loss.

Special emphasis is placed on the preventive examination of nevi and early diagnosis of skin cancer through high-precision dermatoscopy and monitoring of high-risk patients.

In the field of aesthetic dermatology, modern treatments aiming for natural and balanced results are applied, such as botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulators, treatments for pigmentation disorders, acne scars, skin texture improvement, and laser hair removal.

His medical approach is based on accurate diagnosis, honest communication, and treatment with realistic expectations and respect for the individual needs of each patient.
