Aggelopoulou Elena is a Cardiologist with a private practice in Psychiko. She graduated from the Medical School of Sapienza University of Rome. After completing her studies and serving her mandatory rural service at the Regional Clinic of Mesino, Corinthia, she specialized in Cardiology at the 1st Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos". Subsequently, she specialized in Intensive Care at the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas", and also attended the training program in Advanced Echocardiography techniques at the 251st Air Force General Hospital. She served as scientific head of the Cardiology Department and Consultant in the Intensive Care Unit of the General Clinic "Peiraiki Therapeftirio - Merimna Zois". She then worked as an NHS Physician at the General Oncology Hospital "Agioi Anargyroi", from which she resigned with the rank of Director of Cardiology at the NHS in 2022. At G.O.N.K. "Agioi Anargyroi," she was responsible for the Cardio-Oncology clinic. In the context of her continuous education, she has participated in numerous national and international conferences, in many of them as a speaker and commentator, and she has presentations in Greek and international congresses as well as publications. Additionally, she has contributed to writing medical books. Currently, she is a collaborator at Hygeia Hospital. In her private practice, she manages cases across the entire spectrum of Cardiology, equipped with modern tools for procedures such as cardiac ultrasound (triplex), electrocardiogram, Holter rhythm and blood pressure monitoring, Stress Echo, and provides personalized services for the diagnosis and treatment of all cardiovascular diseases, including arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, arrhythmias, tachycardias, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, and heart failure. Finally, she has extensive experience in the field of Cardio-Oncology.
