Η εξειδίκευσή του καλύπτει όλο το φάσμα της παιδοκαρδιολογίας, από τον προληπτικό έλεγχο σε παιδιά με φυσιολογική δομικά καρδιά, έως την έγκαιρη διάγνωση και διαχείριση σύμπλοκων συγγενών καρδιοπαθειών από τη νεογνική ηλικία. Παράλληλα, διαθέτει σημαντική εμπειρία στη διερεύνηση περιστατικών μυοκαρδίτιδας, κληρονομικών μυοκαρδιοπαθειών, αορτοπαθειών και παιδιατρικών αρρυθμιών. Στα κλινικά του ενδιαφέροντά του επίσης περιλαμβάνονται η διερεύνηση των γενετικών καρδιολογικών νοσημάτων και οι νεότερες απεικονιστικές μέθοδοι, όπως η μαγνητική τομογραφία καρδιάς (cMRI), ενώ διαθέτει πιστοποίηση στη γενετική συμβουλευτική. Η εκπαίδευση των νέων ειδικευόμενων παιδιάτρων και καρδιολόγων αποτελεί από τις σημαντικότερες προτεραιότητές του στο πλαίσιο άσκησης της ιατρικής. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε δεκάδες εγχώρια και διεθνή καρδιολογικά συνέδρια παίδων και ενηλίκων με προφορικές παρουσιάσεις και αναρτήσεις. Τέλος, ο ιατρός διατελεί Γενικός Γραμματέας της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Παιδιατρικής Καρδιολογίας.

Επισκεφθήκαμε τον συγκεκριμένο καρδιολόγο για εξέταση του 5χρονου παιδιού μας, λόγω ενός φυσήματος και η εμπειρία μας ήταν εξαιρετική! Από την πρώτη στιγμή κέρδισε την εμπιστοσύνη του παιδιού, κάνοντάς το να νιώσει άνετα και να ηρεμήσει, κάτι που κανένας άλλος γιατρός δεν έχει καταφέρει έως τώρα, πάντα έχουμε πρόβλημα. Επιπλέον, ήταν ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικός στην εξέταση και μας εξηγούσε αναλυτικά τα πάντα, λύνοντας όλες τις απορίες μας. Ήταν συνεπής στην ώρα του ραντεβού και ο χώρος του ιατρείου ήταν καθαρός και φιλικός στα παιδιά. Φύγαμε νιώθοντας μεγάλη ανακούφιση και εμπιστοσύνη. Τον συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Επισκεφθήκαμε τον συγκεκριμένο καρδιολόγο για υπερηχογράφημα καρδιάς στο παιδί μας και η εμπειρία μας ήταν εξαιρετική. Από την πρώτη στιγμή κέρδισε την εμπιστοσύνη του παιδιού με την ηρεμία και τον τρόπο του, κάνοντάς το να νιώσει άνεση και ασφάλεια. Ήταν ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικός και σχολαστικός στην εξέταση, ενώ παράλληλα μας εξηγούσε κάθε βήμα με απλό και κατανοητό τρόπο, λύνοντάς μας όλες τις απορίες. Φάνηκε ότι ενδιαφέρεται πραγματικά για τα παιδιά και τους γονείς, όχι απλώς τυπικά. Το ραντεβού πραγματοποιήθηκε στην ώρα του και ο χώρος ήταν καθαρός και φιλικός στα παιδιά. Τον συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
