Ξεκίνησα θεραπεία σε μια πολύ δύσκολη περίοδο της ζωής μου, νιώθοντας απελπισία και χωρίς να είμαι σίγουρος αν κάτι θα μπορούσε να με βοηθήσει. Από την αρχή ένιωσα ότι οι συνεδρίες προσέφεραν έναν ασφαλή και υποστηρικτικό χώρο όπου μπορούσα να μιλήσω ανοιχτά. Εκτιμώ ιδιαίτερα το ότι η Δέσποινα είναι ευγενική, ήρεμη, καθησυχαστική και ότι μπορώ να την εμπιστευτώ. Αν και νιώθω πως ακόμα βρίσκομαι στην αρχή μιας μακράς πορείας, με έχει βοηθήσει να αρχίσω να καταλαβαίνω καλύτερα τον εαυτό μου και πού χρειάζεται να εστιάσω. Ξέρω ότι έχω ακόμα πολλή δουλειά μπροστά μου, αλλά νιώθω ευγνώμων για την πρόοδο μου.

Η Δέσποινα πάει σε βάθος στις συνεδρίες και επικεντρώνεται στην εύρεση της ρίζας του θέματος και όχι μόνο στις περιστάσεις που εμφανίζεται. Είναι πολύ ευέλικτη και προσαρμόζεται στη συχνότητα που υπάρχουν ανάγκες συνεδρίας!

Προσωπικά δεν κάνω ούτε ένα χρόνο θεραπεία και νιώθω πως η Δέσποινα με έχει βοηθήσει πολύ μέσα σε αυτό το διάστημα. Πριν ξεκινήσω μαζί της αγχωνομουν αρκετά για το θέμα της ψυχοθεραπείας και θεωρώ πως ήταν πολύ καλή στο να μου σπάσει αυτό το άγχος.

Η κ. Μαυριδου είναι η πρώτη ψυχολόγος με την οποία ξεκίνησα συνεδρίες και από την αρχή με έκανε να νιώσω ασφάλεια και άνεση. Είναι πάντα υποστηρικτική, με ηρεμεί και με βοηθά να βλέπω τα πράγματα πιο καθαρά. Είναι συνεπής, διαθέτει χρόνο ακόμα και εκτός των προγραμματισμένων συνεδριών όταν υπάρχει ανάγκη και δείχνει πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον. Τη συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά ουσιαστική στήριξη και ασφάλεια σε ένα θεραπευτικό πλαίσιο.

Πρέπει να ήταν η ηρεμία και το ήρεμο ύφος της Δέσποινας που με έκαναν να θέλω να συνεχίσω τις συνεδρίες μας. Σε κάθε περιγραφή μου είναι εκεί, ανοιχτή, παρούσα και πρόθυμη να με ακούσει, χωρίς βιασύνη, με σεβασμό σε όσα νιώθω πως θέλω να επικοινωνήσω. Πολύ συχνά, ανταποκρίνεται με μία ερώτηση που μου ανοίγει ένα νέο παράθυρο σκέψης. Μαζί προσπαθούμε να βλέπουμε τα πράγματα με απλότητα, κάτι που χρειάζομαι ιδιαίτερα, αφού συχνά χαώνομαι στην υπερανάλυση. Η κάθε συνεδρία με αφήνει με μια θετική σκέψη και, πολλές φορές, με μια πρόκληση: να δοκιμάσω μια διαφορετική προσέγγιση στο ζήτημά μου. Βρίσκω πολύ σημαντική τη σιωπή της γιατί μου δίνει την ευκαιρία να σκάψω πιο βαθιά στις σκέψεις και συναισθήματά μου.

Είναι η πρώτη φορα που κάνω ψυχοθεαραπεία και παρά την αμηχανία των πρώτων συναντήσεων, η Δέσποινα είναι ένα άτομο που, από τα πρώτα λεπτά, σου εμπνέει εμπιστοσύνη, ακούει χωρίς να νιώθεις ότι σε κρίνει και κάθε φορά με βοηθάει να ανοιχτώ περισσότερο και να φτάσω στην πηγή των προβληματισμών μου.

Ηταν η πρωτη μου εμπειρια με ψυχολογο και οπως ηταν αναμενομενο ήμουν επιφυλακτική στην αρχη για το αν θα ταιριαξουμε. Έδωσα όμως λίγο χρόνο στη διαδικασία για να καταλάβω πώς λειτουργεί η ψυχοθεραπεία, και με την πορεία των συνεδριών η Δέσποινα με βοήθησε να συνδεθώ ουσιαστικά με τη διαδικασία. Συντομα ειδα διαφορα και στη διαθεση μου, στο τροπο που σκεφτομαι και αντιμετωπιζω τα πραγματα! Ειναι ξεκαθαρα καταρτισμενη ψυχολογος, κατανοητικη, συννενοησιμη και καθολου μα καθολου επικριτικη.Τη συνιστω ανεπιφυλακτα ακομα και αν δε ξερεις τι σου φταιει ή απο που να ξεκινησεις, η Δεσποινα ειναι μια καλη αρχη, θα το βρειτε μαζι!
