Nikolaidou Paraskeui

Nikolaidou Paraskeui is a Psychiatrist with a private practice in Ilioupoli. She has extensive clinical experience in Greece and the United Kingdom, where she worked in acute care clinics and community psychiatry. She attended Balint groups at the NHS for three consecutive years and has successfully passed the MRCPsych examinations of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a postgraduate specialization diploma in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry from the same university, focusing on the integrated care of physical and mental health. She has completed basic training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Research University Mental Health Institute and has received further training in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in children and adolescents from the 1st Pediatric Clinic of NKUA. In her professional career, she has worked as a psychiatrist at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust in the United Kingdom, and since 2018, she has served as Consulting Psychiatrist at the Multipurpose Mental Health Nursing Unit of Attica (formerly PSNA, Dafni). Additionally, she has many years of experience in a public specialized alcohol detoxification unit, where, as scientific lead, she played a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment, and coordinated care of a large number of patients with alcohol use disorder. She actively participates in training programs for psychiatric residents and presents papers and lectures at conferences and scientific events. She is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Psychiatric Association.
