Διετέλεσε Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος του Κέντρου Ψυχικής Υγείας Colmenar Viejo, που υπάγεται στο Hospital Universitario La Paz, όπου ίδρυσε και ανέπτυξε πρόγραμμα οικογενειακής παρέμβασης, καθώς και θεραπευτικές ομάδες ασθενών.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής του πορείας στην Ισπανία απέκτησε επίσης σημαντική κλινική εμπειρία στην Παιδοψυχιατρική, καθώς και, κατόπιν εξετάσεων, την αναγνώριση του αντίστοιχου τίτλου εξειδίκευσης σύμφωνα με το ισπανικό σύστημα υγείας.
