Mandilari Ioanna is a Dietitian – Nutritionist specializing in Holistic Nutrition and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. She graduated from the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at the International Hellenic University, based in Thessaloniki. Subsequently, she completed a two-year postgraduate training in Holistic Nutrition at CSNN in Toronto, which provided her with a new perspective on Nutritional Assessment.
She has developed a particular interest in the role of the gut microbiome in hormone regulation and is certified in the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (low FODMAP) Diet by Monash University in Melbourne.
She has completed various continuing education programs related to the management of Diabetes Mellitus and Maternal-Child Nutrition, such as “Diabetes Mellitus – From Theory to Practice” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, “Early Nutrition Specialist” from the University of Munich, and “Programming for Infant and Young Child Feeding” in collaboration with Cornell University, New York.
She contributes articles to print and online media on topics related to mindful eating, weight loss, and perinatal nutrition. She is a scientific collaborator of the magazines Shape and LoveYourselfMagazine, as well as the websites Thriveglobal and Clickatlife.
