Cardiologists

Dr. Papadimitriou Fotios is a Cardiologist who has maintained a private practice in Moschato since 2000. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is also a graduate of the same institution. He serves as an Associate Physician at the Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic of the "Hygeia" Hospital and has previously worked as a Cardiologist in the Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko". Σε συνεργασία με το Διαγνωστικό Κέντρο Πυρηνικής Ιατρικής "Υγεία Λαμίας", συμμετέχει καθημερινά στη διενέργεια πολλαπλών σπινθηρογραφημάτων μυοκαρδίου. Επιπλέον, έχει συμμετάσχει σε πληθώρα συνεδρίων και σεμιναρίων στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Στο ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο, αντιμετωπίζει περιστατικά πάνω σε όλο το φάσμα της καρδιολογίας, αντιλαμβανόμενος τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες των ασθενών του.

Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά πρέπει να γίνει στη εξάμηνη εξειδίκευση του γιατρού στο Ωνάσειο Καρδιοχειρουργικό Κέντρο, στις Νεότερες Τεχνικές Υπερήχων : Stress Echo, διοισοφάγειο υπερηχογράφημα καρδιάς, κλπ, οι οποίες με τη χρήση κατάλληλου εξειδικευμένου εξοπλισμού και με τη βοήθεια έμπειρης ομάδας συνεργατών - νοσηλευτή κ.α, πραγματοποιούνται κατόπιν ραντεβού στον χώρο του ιατρείου.

Επίσης ο γιατρός ασχολείται ιδιαίτερα με τον πλήρη καρδιολογικό έλεγχο παιδιών & εφήβων (ΗΚΓ, Triplex καρδιάς - αορτικού τόξου, holter ρυθμού, holter αρτηριακής πίεσης, δοκιμασία κοπώσεως σε κυλιόμενο τάπητα) μετά από τρίμηνη εκπαίδευση στην Παιδοκαρδιολογία στο Ωνάσειο Καρδιοχειρουργικό Κέντρο.

Tsoukalas Dionysios is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Pallini. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. He specialized at the General Hospital of Nikaia - Piraeus and obtained the Cardiology specialty title in 2018. Since then, he has worked as a Specialist Cardiologist at the General Hospital of Nikaia Piraeus "Agios Panteleimon," the General Hospital of Trikala, the General Hospital Asklipieio Voula, as well as at the Metropolitan General Hospital, where he currently serves as Consultant of the 2nd Cardiology Clinic. Dr. Mendrinos Dimitrios, MD, is a Cardiologist maintaining a private practice in Agios Stefanos, Attica. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Liège in Belgium and holds a postgraduate degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Intensive Care Units. He specialized in Cardiology at the First University Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Hippokration" and worked as an Internist at Maria-Hilf Hospital in Krefeld, Germany. He possesses extensive clinical experience and training in a broad range of Cardiology, including the diagnosis and treatment (both interventional and non-interventional) of coronary artery disease, valvular heart diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, cardiomyopathy in pregnancy, and sports cardiology. Finally, the doctor is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Cardiological Society, and the European Society of Cardiology.

Oikonomou Konstantinos is a Cardiologist with a private practice in the Gkyzi area. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He worked as an internal medicine resident at St Barbara Klinik Hamm-Heessen. He completed a two-year training in the specialty of Pathology at GNNA "Sotiria". He worked as a cardiology resident in the Cardiology Clinic of GNA Sismanoglio-Amalia Fleming from 2017 to 2018. He completed his cardiology specialty working at the Cardiology Clinic of GNA "I Elpis" from 2019 to 2022. He received his cardiology specialty title in 2022. Koumelli Areti is a Military Physician and Specialist Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Ambelokipi. She completed her specialization at the First University Cardiology Clinic of the "Hippocrateion" General Hospital of Athens. She holds the position of Consultant Cardiologist at the Cardiology Clinic of the 251st General Air Force Hospital. She is a PhD graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she holds the European Diploma of Cardiology (ESC European Diploma of Cardiology). As part of her ongoing professional development, Dr. Koumelli regularly attends and participates as an invited speaker and commentator at numerous conferences both in Greece and abroad. Kanellopoulos Georgios is a Cardiologist with a private practice in Chalandri. He holds a medical degree from the School of Health Sciences at the University of Crete. He has worked as a Pathology trainee and subsequently as a Cardiology trainee at the "Korgialeneio Benakeio" Hospital, and served as Consultant at the 3rd Cardiology Clinic of IASO General Hospital. Ο Λιακατσίδας Κωνσταντίνος είναι Καρδιολόγος - Αρρυθμιολόγος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Χαλάνδρι, από το Μάρτιο 2023. Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (2006). Λοιποί έλεγχοι, όπως τεστ κοπώσεως, stress echo, σπινθηρογράφημα μυοκαρδίου, μαγνητική καρδιάς, κ.α. που απαιτούν ειδικό τεχνικό και ελεγχόμενο περιβάλλον και συνήθως χρησιμεύουν στη διερεύνηση αρρυθμιολογικών παθήσεων διενεργούνται στις προαναφερθείσες συνεργαζόμενες κλινικές, ή κατ' επιλογή του ασθενούς.

Papadopoulos Thomas MD, PhD is a Specialist Cardiologist - Interventional Cardiologist with a private practice in Thessaloniki. He holds a Doctorate from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He underwent five years of postgraduate training in the United Kingdom at the Northern General Hospital - Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and specialized at the University Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Hippokration". His training and postgraduate education cover the entire spectrum of interventional cardiology. Additionally, he received further training in cardiac ultrasound techniques and earned the diploma of the British Society of Echocardiography. He has particular expertise in hypertension, hyperlipidemia, adult valvular heart diseases, as well as adult cardiopathies and structural heart diseases. Currently, apart from his private practice, he is a Scientific Collaborator at the 2nd University Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Hippokration" and collaborates with the Medical Interbalkan Center, while once a week he holds a clinic in Polygyros, Halkidiki.

Klotsa Dimitra is a Cardiologist who maintains a private practice in Zografou. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received further training in echocardiography at King’s College Hospital in London. There, she specialized in the Heart Failure Clinic (diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients) and in the ultrasound department, performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms on patients with heart failure. Asonitis Emmanouil MD is a Specialist Cardiologist for adults and maintains his practice in Argyroupoli.
