He began his Sports Medicine specialty at the University Hospital Catanzaro, Italy, following entrance exams, holding a salaried position and scholarship from the E.U., under the direction of Professor Pietro Scotto di Vettimo. During the first year of the specialty, he trained at the University Hospital Chieti, Italy, in the Sports Medicine Department under the direction of Professor Leonardo Vecchiet. Εξαιρετικός από όλες τις απόψεις. Βαθειά γνώση του αντικειμένου, ασχολήθηκε χωρίς περιορισμό χρόνου με την περίπτωση μου, ήταν επεξηγηματικος μέχρι τελευταίας λεπτομέρειας και ίσως μια από τις πιο ανθρώπινες προσεγγίσεις που έχω βιώσει σε γιατρό.
