Virginia Angelou, BA, MSc, is a Psychologist – Group Analyst in training, with a private practice in Holargos.She holds a license to practice Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and a Master’s degree (MSc) with distinction from the Medical School of Athens in “Addiction Treatment – Addictology.”She has extensive professional experience across various mental health settings and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Specifically, she has worked in Special Education centers with children and adolescents with specific learning difficulties (e.g., ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia) and autism, as well as in schools as a Substitute Psychologist. In addition, she has experience in the field of Community Psychiatry, working with vulnerable populations.In recent years, she has collaborated as an external associate with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while also seeing clients in private practice. At the same time, she is training as a Group Analyst at the Hellenic Organization of Psychotherapy & Education in Group Analysis (HOPE in GA).
She has participated in research projects and Greek conferences, while her academic writings and articles have been published in both Greek and international collective volumes.
