He has extensive experience, having completed his specialization at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" and the 4th Orthopedic Clinic of G.N.A. Ο Δημόπουλος Λεωνίδας MD, MSc είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο Κολωνάκι και στην Τρίπολη. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών το 2012. Ειδικεύτηκε σε όλο το φάσμα της Ορθοπαιδικής Χειρουργικής και Τραυματολογίας στην Α’ Ορθοπαιδική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, στο Πανεπιστημιακό Γενικό Νοσοκομείο "Αττικόν". Έπειτα έλαβε την επίσημη έμμισθη θέση εξειδίκευσης της Μ. Βρετανίας στη χειρουργική ώμου και αγκώνα (post C.C.T. Clinical Fellowship) στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα κέντρα Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham 2020-2021 και Royal Orthopaedic Hospital 2021-2022 όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνικές αρθροσκόπησης και αρθροπλαστικής ώμου και αγκώνα, πραγματοποιώντας πολυάριθμες επεμβάσεις τόσο στο γενικό πληθυσμό όσο και σε επαγγελματίες αθλητές. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πληθώρα εγχώριων και διεθνών επιστημονικών συναντήσεων ενώ έχει λάβει πολλαπλές υποτροφίες από εγχώριες και διεθνείς επιστημονικές εταιρείες, έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει στην εκπαίδευση φοιτητών Ιατρικής στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, καθώς και στο University of Birmingham, MBChB.
