Maxairas Stylianos MD, MSc is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a private practice in Pangrati. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received his specialty training at the University Orthopedic Clinic of Athens. He specialized in sports medicine, traumatology, and total knee and hip arthroplasty at recognized centers in Greece (KAT Hospital), Europe (University Orthopedic Clinic in Homburg Saar, Germany), and the USA (Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois and Cornell University Hospital for Special Surgery, New York). He worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon in the sports injuries department of the General Hospital of Attica KAT for over 8 years and has served as a team physician for football, volleyball, and basketball teams. Additionally, he served as Director of the Sports Injuries Department at Metropolitan Hospital and the Euromedica Group, as well as Director of the Orthopedic Clinic at Neon Athinaion. Currently, he is a member of the Headquarters of the Olympic Medical Committee and the World Stem Cell Organization. Finally, with 20 years of experience, he has performed a large number of arthroscopies on the knee, hip, elbows, shoulders, and ankle.
