Dr. Kotsiras Ioannis, MD, MSc, is an Ophthalmologist and Deputy Director at "Errikos Dunant Hospital Center" and maintains private clinics in Nea Smyrni, Petroupoli, and Medihall in Kifissia. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has extensive experience, having worked for several years at "Errikos Dunant" Hospital, as well as at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas". He is an Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing and with particular research interest in Ultrasound Microsurgical Cataract Surgery, Corneal Surgery, the Study and Correction of Refractive Anomalies, Surgical Removal of Eyelid Lesions, Glaucoma Pathology and Surgery, the Study of Posterior Segment Diseases, as well as Macular Disorders. Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree in "Healthcare Management" from the University of Piraeus, and it is worth mentioning that in 1996 he was awarded by the International Basic Science Assessment in Ophthalmology. To date, he actively participates in Greek and international conferences, seminars, and ophthalmology meetings through lectures, presentations, and posters, as well as serving as a trainer in experimental surgical workshops (wet labs) at conferences.
