Professor Petroutsos Georgios MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with private practices in Athens and Kifisia. He returned from abroad in 1985 and was appointed Chief Ophthalmologist Grade A at the Athens Eye Hospital. From 1986, he worked at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor until 1992. He gained particular expertise in Sjogren’s syndrome through collaboration with the Internal Medicine Clinic and Professor Ch. Moutsopoulos. He has authored three dissertations, over 50 foreign-language scientific publications, and more than 150 Greek publications. From 1992, he served as Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Blue Cross for fifteen years. He currently performs surgery at the specialized Ophthalmology Clinic Hypapanti tou Christou.

Pappa Eleni is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and has maintained a private practice in Peristeri since 2021. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her five-year specialization in ophthalmology at one of the largest hospitals in northern Germany, Klinikum Bremen-Mitte. Dr. Mendrinos Eustratios graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Liège in Belgium with Highest Distinction. He specialized in ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland, where he also earned his Doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva. He worked as a Consultant in the Department of Retinal, Vitreous, and Macular Diseases and Surgery at the University Hospital of Geneva, and subsequently at the University Hospital of Liverpool, England, under the direction of the world-renowned ophthalmic surgeons Professor K. Pournaras and Prof. H. Heiman, respectively. He is the author of 35 articles in international scientific journals, as well as 18 chapters in English and French ophthalmology books, and has delivered over 90 presentations at Greek and international ophthalmology conferences. He holds the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma and has been awarded for his scientific work at international conferences. Dr. Mendrinos has participated in international studies (Excite, Mont Blanc, Cabernet, VIEW2) that established the modern management of age-related macular degeneration. He is the founder and administrator of the Medica Polyclinic in Agios Stefanos, where he currently practices, a state-of-the-art facility covering nearly all specialties.
