Dr. Ragkousis Antonios is a Ophthalmic Surgeon and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Athens.
He concurrently serves as Consultant at the State Ophthalmology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas," where he is responsible for the Department of Ocular Inflammations and Retina. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of the University of Athens, where he also completed his doctoral dissertation with distinction. He is also a top graduate holder of the postgraduate degree "Ophthalmic Imaging." He completed his specialty training at the Red Cross Hospital.
He specialized for several years in England in diseases of the Retina-Macula and Ocular Inflammations at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, Southampton University Hospital, and Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He holds Certification of Specialization and Excellence from the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) and the European Society of Retina Specialists (FEBOS-R).
