Ophthalmologists in Nea Erythraia

Ο Σαϊτάκης Γιώργος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Νέα Ερυθραία. Εισήχθη στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών κατόπιν Πανελληνίων εισαγωγικών εξετάσεων. Κατά το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2018-2019, συμμετείχε στην κλινική εκπαίδευση στην Οφθαλμολογία των πεμπτοετών φοιτητών Ιατρικής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Μετά από πανευρωπαϊκές εξετάσεις στο Παρίσι, απέκτησε τον τίτλο του “Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology, FEBO“. Ακόμη, τον Μάρτιο του 2018, έλαβε την υποτροφία του καθηγητή Οφθαλμολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου του Harvard "E. Gragoudas“, αφού κατέλαβε την πρώτη θέση σε πανελλήνιες γραπτές εξετάσεις ανάμεσα στους Έλληνες ειδικευόμενους Οφθαλμολογίας, και παρακολούθησε στις ΗΠΑ το ‘’Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology’’,το οποίο διοργανώνεται από το Harvard Medical School και το Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Εν συνεχεία, το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2019-2020, εξειδικεύτηκε στον τομέα της Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας (διάρκεια Fellowship 1 έτος) ως προσκεκλημένος Neuro-Ophthalmology International Fellow στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Harvard, στο νοσοκομείο Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, στην Βοστώνη των ΗΠΑ, υπό την καθοδήγηση των παγκοσμίου φήμης καθηγητών Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Harvard, Dr Joseph Rizzo III και Dr Dean Cestari. Κατά την παραμονή του στις ΗΠΑ, o κος Σαϊτάκης συμμετείχε με εργασίες στο Συνέδριο Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας της Βορείου Αμερικής (NANOS) και ανέλαβε ερευνητικά projects στο πεδίο της νευρο-οφθαλμολογικής προσβολής στην ‘’IgG4-related disease’’, συνεργαζόμενος με τον φημισμένο καθηγητή Ρευματολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου του Harvard, Dr John Stone. Είναι κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος (MSc) «Οπτική και Όραση» του Βαρδινογιάννειου Εργαστηρίου Μεταμοσχεύσεων και Μικροχειρουργικής του Οφθαλμού (IVO) και της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, αποφοιτώντας από το διετές πρόγραμμα με τον υψηλότερο βαθμό. Είναι, ακόμα, κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος (MSc) «Διοίκηση Υπηρεσιών Υγείας και Διαχείριση Κρίσεων» του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου (2017). Kalogeropoulou Dionysia is an Ophthalmologist who runs a private practice in Nea Erythraia. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma and has been awarded for his scientific work at international conferences. Dr. Mendrinos has participated in international studies (Excite, Mont Blanc, Cabernet, VIEW2) that established the modern management of age-related macular degeneration.
