Η καθυστέρηση ενός ραντεβού είναι παράγοντας απογοήτευσης για τον ασθενή σε κάθε περίπτωση. Η ειδοποίηση πριν την επίσκεψη είναι σημαντική και πρέπει πάντα να εφαρμόζεται όταν προκύπτει.
