Μουλκιώτης Νικόλαος

I am Nikolaos I. Moulkiotis, MD, Specialist in General and Family Medicine, born in Thessaloniki and raised in Thebes, Greece, where I completed my secondary education. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Ovidius University of Constanța, Romania, and have completed my specialty training in General Medicine, as well as postgraduate studies in Health Unit Management at the Hellenic Open University.

Throughout my professional career, I have placed particular emphasis on continuous medical education, aiming to provide a holistic, personalised, and contemporary approach to healthcare.

I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Diabetes and Obesity in Primary Care from Miguel Hernández University of Spain, in collaboration with Metropolitan College, with a particular focus on the modern management of Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity in Primary Care. This postgraduate training constitutes an important part of my professional and scientific activity and has strengthened my approach to the management of excess body weight, metabolic disorders, and chronic diseases associated with modern lifestyles.

In parallel, I have undertaken further training in Clinical Nutrition and nutritional support, as well as Lifestyle Medicine, with a particular interest in the prevention and management of obesity, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidaemia, and metabolic syndrome.

An important part of my professional practice is Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, and Auricular Acupuncture, in which I have extensive experience, particularly as complementary therapeutic approaches in the management of chronic and musculoskeletal pain, as well as in weight management and obesity. I have also received further training in Pain Medicine and Algology, with the aim of providing comprehensive assessment and personalised management of patients experiencing pain.

My medical philosophy is based on prevention, personalised care, and close collaboration with the patient. I combine modern General and Family Medicine with my knowledge and experience in the fields of Obesity, Diabetes Mellitus, Clinical Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Medical Acupuncture.

My goal is to treat every patient as a unique individual, providing care based on respect, scientific evidence, and genuine commitment to improving their health and quality of life.
