Papalaurentios Laurentios

Papalaurentios Laurentios is a Gastroenterologist and maintains a Private Practice in Thessaloniki. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and acquired his specialty in Gastroenterology, having been trained in the full spectrum of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, as well as in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy of the digestive system at the Gastroenterology Clinic of G.N. Thessaloniki G. Papanikolaou. In 2014, he was awarded a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki after completing his doctoral thesis. He also received additional training in Endoscopic Ultrasound, Therapeutic Endoscopy, and ERCP at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of ULB ERASME in Brussels. He has served for several years as a scientific collaborator and adjunct faculty member at the 4th University Department of Internal Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as in the Endoscopy Department of the Medical Diavalkaniko Center. Additionally, he worked as a Clinical Associate in the Gastroenterology, Hepatopancreatology, and Digestive Oncology department at the University Hospital of Brussels (ULB Erasme Hospital). Furthermore, he served as vice president and president of the Northern Greece chapter of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society. He has participated in numerous Greek and international conferences as a speaker and author of scientific papers, and he has published numerous articles in international and Greek medical journals. He is a member of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society, the Hellenic Liver Study Society, the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the European Group for Endoscopic Ultrasonography. His practice manages cases covering the entire spectrum of Gastroenterology, with particular emphasis on Hepatology and Interventional Gastroenterology.
