Βεναρδής Γιάννης

Yiannis Venardis is a Mental Health Counselor with a private practice in Filothei. He has worked as a therapist in both Greece and Scotland, offering individual psychotherapy to adults from 2015 to the present. As a member of the ELCA organization he has worked in the field of addiction psychotherapy at HMP Edinburgh, offering his services to individuals with addiction issues and complex psychosocial difficulties.

Yiannis has completed specialized studies in General Psychology in Athens, Greece, while later in the UK following studies of Counseling and Group Work with a combination of Person Centered and Cognitive - Behavioural approach. Among other highlights, he has trained in Mindfulness as well as in the field of trauma through the Somatic Experiencing course.

Yiannis a also holds a degree from the Law School at Democritus University

He is a member of the Hellenic Counseling Association and COSCA Scotland, UK. His integrative approach is based on creating a safe, supportive, and confidential relationship, with respect for the uniqueness and needs of each individual.
