Zolota Katerina

Zolota Katerina is a Psychiatrist - Psychotherapist and runs a private practice in Neos Kosmos. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, receiving a scholarship. She holds a Master’s degree (MA) in Health Unit Management. She initially specialized in Psychiatry at the State Therapeutic Center - General Hospital - Health Center of Leros and subsequently completed her specialty at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica (PSNA Dafni). As part of her psychiatric specialization, she trained in the acute cases clinic in the 5th Psychiatric Admissions Department of PSNA, liaison-consultation psychiatry and forensic psychiatry at the 2nd Psychiatric Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon," community psychiatry at the Mental Health Center of Peristeri of PSNA, child psychiatry at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of the General Hospital Asklipieio Voulas, and neurology at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. She completed the four-year program of the Society of Cognitive Behavioral Studies (EGSS) and was certified as a Psychotherapist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In 2019, she was selected by the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) and attended the School of Neuropsychopharmacology in Oxford. She has worked as a Junior Psychiatrist at the State Therapeutic Center of Leros and in mental health services. She has received further training through seminars in psychopharmacology, psychopathology, psychogeriatrics, psychotherapeutic content, among others, within the framework of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning. Concurrently, she maintains a consistent presence at psychiatric conferences. She has experience across the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders. She provides psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and combined treatment services. There is the option for home visits and online sessions. The clinic is located directly opposite the Agios Ioannis metro station.
